There really is no other side to it. I like pits , but , I could never own one due to the liabilities. I had a buddy that used to be a meter reader for ONG. He said he was bit by labs and chows and that was a bout it besides a couple toy breeds. His rule was Dobies, shepherds , or pits go ahead , but , if a lab or chow was in the yard just estimate it. One of the pits that we use to gaurd our scaffold yard got after the Bixby telephone guy. Telephone guy jumped in the bed of my partners brand new Tundra and kicked a big dent in the side of it. He was furious about it . He wanted BTC to pay for it. I told nim to lighten up we have ins. and I am sure tha it wouldnt be more than a couple hundred bucks to fix it. Then BTC called the sheriffs dept and wanted some action to be taken. The TCSO told them no way the dog is free to roam wherever on the acreage she wanted to. Then my business partner said lets sue them. I said no its over take the truck to the body shop and call it a day.
