The 3rd pic is a young real wide 8pt... my wife had him at less than 10 yards the weekend before rifle and bumped her arrow off the string trying to draw, the worst part is i got it all on film and realized after he walked off i never hit record! Its Ok he needs at least one more year if not two.
The first pic, I had him at under 20yrds the next thursday right before rifle. He came in right at dark, i could see him pretty well but when i drew back he walked under a tree and it was to dark to see my pins. He is the oldest deer i am getting pics of but not the biggest rack but he is still the one i really want. Well it just so happened the neighbor shot him opening evening of rifle and couldnt find him, said the deer was walking toward him and he popped him right in the chest. Well i got a pic of him the next day with his lower jaw blown off. That whole ordeal is a story on it s own!
