It's always exciting to get a mount back. Reliving the kill and so far I have always reacted as you did in the manor of size recollection.

Thank you sticky! Got it done at Johnson's taxidermy. He's a local guy who works out of his house. The back of the ears and the cuts where it was caped between them aren't quite as clean as I would like, but no one will see that anyway. I got lucky by taking the buck on October 6th. I beat the rush

I wanted to but we've had a huge project going at work where my days off are split and I had no chance to get away. We should shoot for something though.

Taxidermist called me to come by and take a look and we could adjust the ears around if I wanted. It is my Archery buck from November 2013.
