Tons of birds tonight, very few committed to the spread, most never went down anywhere.............just one of those cold, cloudy and windy evening where they just fly around forever and never cooperate. Anyone ever seen a bird with zero skin on its neck? As in NONE? It fell from the sky like that.

I'd say that's a pretty tight choke, for sure.

Talk about a great morning. Every bird came in on a string. Luckily the big birds flew first and we could pick and choose the later birds. Shot a three man limit but watched birds fall from the flocks in the distance,so we counted them and packed up. Awesome day!

Love those 747's!

Pretty slow day for us. Hit the field for geese in the morning, but the overnight change in wind direction knocked us off the X. I'm also pretty sure the birds fed all night with the full moon as they wanted to hit water first thing this morning. Saw thousands, but they just didn't want to play.

For the evening we set up blind on a little cow pond we got access to without expecting much. Once again, saw thousands of birds, but they all wanted to fly right about legal sunset. We did manage to scratch out a few before LST ended.

We had a pretty good wind up until right at sunset and it completely died.

Kind of the same here Porter. We pulled up to the X this evening only to find 4 trucks and a trailer setting up................they said/landowner said/we said..........and didn't want in the middle of it we took off for another field, they flew way later than normal and were not very cooperative.
