[QUOTE="makeithappen, post: 3277192, member: 24464"] I skipped opening day because the front yesterday was promising enough to break tradition. I ended up running a little late and slipped into the stand. Head on a swivel and at 7:15, a doe slipped in away 20 yards. I stopped her at 18 and made a perfect shot. She didn't know she was hit. She stumbled then walked 10 yards and laid down. I had to wait for 2 younger does with her to quit blowing at her for 20 minutes. Afternoon hunt I sat for 7.5 hours as the camera showed movement from 1pm on. Had 7 Turkey slip in at 330 but it was too early in the hunt to take one. Had 2 young young bucks come in from downwind at 6 and stay for 45 minutes, but nothing else. I did not doctor the arrow placement. That's where it stopped.
