[QUOTE="makeithappen, post: 3277737, member: 24464"] What a day. Buddy and I sat 300 yards apart in the morning. I saw 3 young bucks up until 11am. My buddy saw those same bucks plus an additional 2 and 4 does, twice. The winds really picked up for the evening and the temperature dropped 10 degrees in a few minutes. At 6pm, Elliott (think of the movie open season) came in for the second evening hunt in a row. He came to 5 yards and fed at 20 yards for 30 minutes before bedding down for 20 minutes, straight down wind (thank you all free and clear detergent). He got up and fed to 10 yards, then the pigs came in. When they got 5 yards from me, I took the biggest sow. It was almost a straight down shot. She made it 40 yards. Good riddance.
