They've negotiated fees for various doctor visits and procedures, labs etc. You pay the fee to the provider  and submit the claim to sidecar and they pay you whatever the negotiated amount is. It makes some sense, and I can see how something like this could help with costs. However, you'd still have to have insurance to cover the catastrophic stuff. So, you'd be doing this along with another plan.</p></blockquote><p></p>
