That’s a great buck. I think I would have mounted it because of the coloring alone.

My oldest boy got one yesterday afternoon. Not the one he was after, but he was only going to be able to hunt 1 or 2 more days before going back to college and he wanted to make some jerky, so this was the one. Shot at a whopping 35ish yards lol. Then we had a hog come out, so he got dropped as well. It will all be in a video in a few days in my Hogs and Stuff thread.

Son took a big doe this morning with the Lone Eagle in 7mm08. There would have been 2 in the pic but the guts fell out of the scope after the first shot lol. Old scope.
