Shot the biggest doe at 225 yds, then the other doe and two yearlings came running toward me. She stopped at 190 yds and looked at me so I put a shot through her neck.  I then had to throw them off the creek bank, float them across the creek and winch them up the other side. And if anyone needs a 308 load with 178 gr ELD-X, I’ve got one that does phenomenally well in my rifle. A credit to this rifle…it has never missed.  Four of us have used it with nary a miss and easy recoveries.
