I have a colt 22 that was a great plinker... I recently decided to retire it to the safe since I can't seem to find them online. I replaced it with a ruger MKIII talo edition with a threaded barrel. Just set the sights on it a few days ago, it's a lot of fun. With the suppressor it's going to be me urban pest gun. I have an anschutz bolt action rifle that I used to shoot 22 silhouette with. Won't 3 state championships with it many years ago. I love that gun, but it doesn't get out much anymore. There are several more in the heard but my current focus is on my 10/22 td. I sent the barrel off to be threaded and it's going to replace my Ruger SR-22 rifle as one of my INCH guns. I just polished out the trigger and receiver and both are much smoother now. I upgraded the charging handle and mag release. Last I did the autobolt release mod and put on a mice leupold vx1 2x7x28 scope on it. Can't wait till the barrel gets back. It's going to be a lot different than the last time I had it at the range. Nothing is more fun that shooting at reactive targets with a 22. Very gratifying and inexpensive, far as gun stuff goes, hobby!
