25 varget gets me 2837 fps with great accuracy out as far as 1k. It would not be my first choice of bullet for a 1:8 barrel if you are really going for accuracy. This was the first day out with the bullets on a fresh barrel doing some load workup. All 5 shot groups at 100 yards from a bipod and rear bag. Finished product 100y zero. There are inconsistencies within the lot of bullets I received (1200 rounds). I would prefer to shoot the 75Amax, 77 SMK, or even some of the 80s, but I am heavily limited with my 1:9 twist barrel. These bullets show their flaws passed 300y but still average 1 MOA to 775, after that I am seeing roughly 2 MOA. Once I am done fireforming brass I may switch to a 1:8 or 1:7 to run one of the 80 or 90gr options. If you can fit them I would look no further than the 75 Amax or 80 Amax.
