.22LR 1911 Conversion?

Yeah, it should work just fine. The frame on a Commander is the same as the Govt.

Now, if you have a hybrid (Commander 4.25 slide with an Officer frame) I'm not sure.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Marvel conversion unit over all the others.

Just because your barrel is 4.25 inches,(commander lengh), your frame is still a full size. I see no reason why it shouldn't work on your gun.
