My truck gun: (One of them anyway.)

Mossberg 702. Cheap yet accurate out of the box, extra mags can be had direct from the manufacturer, carbine length and the plastic stock won't rot. And you won't get upset when you scratch it.

I have 5 full mags on mine at all times. High rings so the iron sights are still usable in case the scope gets knocked off kilter.

.22 rifle would be especially useful in a rabbit zombie situation... I like the idea of a survival henery or any of the ones that pack rather compactly.

I personally am waiting on a PCC that uses Glock 9mm mags so I can just carry one set of mags and ammo for both.


My Ruger PCC is set up for Glock mags and it breaks down for easy packing.
