Any ideas on old ammo? Friends dad passed and I bought 640 rounds of 1968 Dutch surplus 30-06 in bandoliers and m1 clips sealed in wood case. This stuff looks brand new have not fired yet am I good to try this, don't have any junk rifles to try with.
Sure it's not Danish? Either way, most of the European surplus M2 ball is good to go. It was made to U.S. specs for the Garands we sent them. Treat it as if it's corrosive and clean the rifle accordingly after shooting and you should be fine.
