Bumped the H110 to 17.5 gr behind the 125gr TNT's. Still won't cycle enough to feed another bullet from the magazine or lock back on empty mag. Their online reloading spec shows 17.8gr as the max for this load. :( :( :(
I took the handguard off and checked the gas block alignment, seems to be in the right spot.
Frustrating to be trying this powder (H110/W296) when everyone says it's the bomb with the 300blk and it isn't working for my gun. Especially when it shoots a very mild 20.1gr of Accurate 1680 (19.4 min - 21.5 max) according to their website.

Jerry at Jerry's Reloading says maybe the 110 is burning to quick and has shot its wad before it gets to my carbine gas port??

What says the popcorn section?

What weights of buffers are available? I've thought of going to the next lighter weight and trying it again. Tho I don't know what mine has in it. Rifle kit from FBT.

Thanks
Deano

17gr H110 with 125gr is what my buddy shoots in two of his ARs with no issues. Not sure of what his setup are though, I can ask.

Man I lost where we were on this. I have some 125 SST loaded at 17gr and at 18.5gr of H110 and all cycle fine in a pistol length gas with H2 buffer and a carbine length with a H1 buffer.

H1, H2, and H3 should be marked as such on the head. Cant remember but maybe the H1 just says H or not marked and H2 and the H3 are marked. Im sure someone on here remembers better than me.

Weigh it.
Carbine 3.0 oz
H 3.8 oz
H2 4.7 oz
H3 5.6 oz

They will vary a bit.

There are 3 weights inside the buffer.
The carbine has 3 Steel ones.
H has 1 tungsten, 2 steel
H2 2 tungsten, 1 steel
H3 3 tungsten

You can buy an H1 and an H2 and build your own combos.
