The wildlife department even came when I was in about 7th grade, and taught a safety course, and at the end we got a certificate that is still honored today, when getting a hunting license, Hunter Safety Course, the name came to me just now. I do Grandfather in and could get my license without it but I do have it and the ODW Dept. has record of it. It would have been about 1973. We had it pretty good back then. I feel sorry for what our kids have to put up with today, going thru school. Can you imagine going to school without a Pocket Knife, that is crazy. We even took guns to school in our pickups, when we got old enough to drive. I wonder why it changed so fast?I am ready to try and load some of those wax and glue bullets, to get back to the subject.
