Finished blue-printing the action, so the only thing left to do on the action is to modify the base mounting threads to the larger 8-40 screws.

Ok, I have a question. Why do gun machine threads be so different than standard threads used throughout industry?
Guns use 5-40, 8-40, everybody else uses 4-40, 8-32, 8-24 etc, available everywhere. Gun screws/threads are hybrid. Why? It serves no purpose that I can see

The .930 barrel is going to be heavy.
That being said, my 1:8 .243 WSSM has the same barrel diameter, and it's heavy at 22"
Great work so far BTW.
