I am not a hockey fan but what happen on Sep 7, 2011 was a sad day for anyone who likes any sport. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl is a Russian professional ice hockey team playing in the Kontinental Hockey League. A plane carrying the team to a game in Minsk crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all of the team's roster (plus four players from the Loko MHL junior squad) and coaching staff except for winger Alexander Galimov (who was on the flight and sustained burns to most of his body) and goaltending coach Jorma Valtonen (who was not on the flight).
