4Sevens Flashlights and Duracell

Recently my Preon P2 quit working and I could not get the batteries out to take a look so decided to spend 2 bucks and return it to 4Sevens. Within a week including mail time I received a call from 4Sevens and a detailed email stating that batteries had leaked, swollen and destroyed the light. He recommended I contact Duracell.

I called Duracell told them the story and forwarded the email from 4Sevens. They are sending me a check for the replacement value of the light and a coupon for a free package of batteries. Nice customer service and I just wanted to say kudos to 4Sevens and Duracell.

That's good to hear. Out of curiosity, what documentation did Duracell want on the batteries?

They only asked that if they requested the light be sent to them under a prepaid shipping label would I send it to them. I said yes of course.

That's awesome. I will keep that in my mind if I ever have anything destroyed by batteries.

I just ordered a Gen 2 Preon P2.

The Duracell replacement policy is why I usually put their batteries in my nice stuff.

Glad to hear they took care of you. This is exactly why I only put Lithium batteries (even AAs / AAAs) in aluminum or Titanium flashlights.
