yesterday while at the ICORE match in Arkansas this fellow was passing out his business card (the one on the right)

i found it to be quite interesting... the rim is the same size as the 45 acp but it looks more like a baby holding an apple...

which this round is useless when considering sda. but i thought it was an outside the box kind of thing....

the company makes a 1911 and now a glock conversion to convert the large frame glocks.

according to their website they are pushing out a 275 grain jhp at 890 feet per second. (244 power factor) they advice its like shooting a 10mm

I have a 400 Corbon conversion barrel for my 1911's, it gives me the equivilent of having a 10mm without having to change slide or magazines. I really like the 400 corbon, plus its legal for Oklahoma SDA carry. Blitz

And they run about $2000 if I recall correctly.

Their guns are closer to 3K. I've handled a couple of their guns. One been their new American. That gun has the roughest grip and checkering out of any 1911 I've handled. You got to have a rough hand to shoot it or your hand will be roughed up. To me, their gun seem a little over priced. I would rather have a Ed Brown for a little less. They make good quality guns but their guns all look really rough compare to Ed Brown or Wilson.
