Looks like raising cost to all FFL and SOT's as well as striking $200 tax stamps and making them $500 tax stamps, raising taxes on importers and ammunition

I'm surprised this hasn't popped up yet

I got a newsletter from them awhile back. It’s still active in the system but not currently advancing anywhere.

They were meant to be cost prohibitive to poor folk when the law was enacted in 1934 thus keeping evil weapons out of the hands of the peasants.

Just another means of gun control.

I was hoping the NRA would have come out against this (as it was introduced a month ago) but I'm not seeing any response from them, if they come out against it and push for the HR 367 to pass i'd seriously consider renewing my long lapsed membership.

IIRC, they didn’t do anything to oppose the GCA of 1986 either. The NRA could care less about the NFA world.
