Sounds like Parlor website is hosted on Amazon servers, so Amazon could shut it down.
You can still use Parlor thru their website, but I don't know who's hosting it, if not Parlor then that could be shut down.
I'm guessing the classifieds on this site will go away once online and private sales are outlawed.
It seems like conservatives are usually behind the curve, always playing defense and catching up, never on the offense.
We may be moving to ham radios and the dark web, tho ham isn't secure.
We need secret codes and decoder rings!
Seriously, I hope somehow conservatives see this coming and get ahead it in some way.
Considering that people have individual freedom to do whatever they want, and companies have been ruled as people, what's the problem if companies want to shut Parler down? Oh, that's right. It was a decision folks don't agree with... an "unintended consequence" if you will.
That was the whole point on Net Neutrality that this administration shut down. So again, another "unintended consequence" here.Internet service should be considered a utility, and regulated as such in this day and age. Can Cox shut down my tv because they dont like me watching fox news? Can OGE shut off my electricity because they don't like what I plug into my outlet? It should not be allowed to be shut down at an ISP level. If parler wants to put their own server up, and post/host what they want, it should be legal, short of things like child porn, etc, as it should be considered freedom of speech. If I home brew, and the water company doesnt like that, should they be able to shut my water off? I understand the whole, a company can determine how their business is used, but at some point, it becomes an infringement on inherent rights.
Mozilla, developer of the Firefox internet browser, has argued that more must be done to keep Donald Trump and other “bad actors” out of cyberspace, prompting many to vow to never use the group’s services again.
