Yea the deer will die but it may go a long ways.V-max or A max bullets or thin jacketed varmint bullets like to shrapnel apart  like a hand grenade once they get in.If you can shoulder punch with  those or double lung or vital neck shot the deer will fall within sight.I like less running on my critters if I can get it and light varmint bullets are my choice.I may get flamed but the 55 v max is devastating and if I had my choice a 120 ish in a tipped style like that in a 6.5 would be good in my book.I have some 123 ELDM I should send at some deer this year.</blockquote>
