It ran 100 yards left only a small blood trail. When we found it, it's heart was hanging out the exit wound. Sometimes they drop, sometimes they run, and sometimes people exaggerate one way or the other on how good/bad a round is. I don't own a 6.5 CM, but looking at the ballistics, it shouldn't have any problems dropping a whitetail using a descent hunting bullet.</p></blockquote><p></p>
