8mm benchrest - doing my best

Nice shooting. I have a couple K98s and a vz24 sniper. I opened up the rear sight on them to make them easier to use. The vz24 is scoped and shoots a ragged hole with 150s.

The czech rifling is a different animal than German or Yugo.

I'm going to try some 125gn Krutz bullets - see if she likes 'em.

P.S. We are not allowed to modify rear sight.

I see what you did there... Fine keep the dollar!
Portuguese sure has some nice sights, but I don't have as much faith in re-boring/re-rifling they did.
You call a hex key - I call it tool steel 4.5mm shim ... as described per rules.

I did shoot some more today - and for some reason it seems to like the 125gn Krutz bullets... I think I am going to give it another go at the next match instead of the 91/30 I was going to shoot.
