I haven't tried any jacketed yet. WST acts like it's not going to work well going over 135 power factor at least with the lead. Winchester doesn't publish ANY 9mm data and I didn't see any at all on handloads.com either. Somebody told me that they bought a jug of it and couldn't find any data, so they called Hodgdon and they said not to use it at all for 9mm. Also didn't see any jacketed loads over on Enos but there are a bunch of folks using it over there for lead. Seems it's a great backup for Solo 1000. You could probably use the 3.3 load for a hollow point as a starting point and work from there. I might try it some day with a jacketed because it's really clean burning. If you keep it in a mild load I don't anticipate any real problem but I don't think it's one to hot rod. Heck it might make a great subsonic load for a can. I get some very mild primer flow/flattening at the 3.6gr load but it plenty safe enough to use in my gun. I get zero flow/flattening at 3.3gr and the brass just kind of dribbles out the side. This is only a .3 grain difference and the brass flies a good bit further with the 3.6gr load. So I'm leary to go jacketed at this point. I think Titegroup, WSF or AA#5 (if you want to push it hard) is the way to go or one of the VihtaVuori powders would probably be better. I like it mainly because it meters great, doesn't smoke much, it's pretty clean, reasonably priced and seems to always be available. I've seen some very consistent chrono numbers and I suspect that these are all in the same brand cases. That's something else I need to check. So far I've not segregated by mfg.
