I believe that's the carbine marketed by Legacy. I had my eye on it for a long time waiting for it to hit the streets. However, what I've read on it so far leaves me a little cautious. Also, their previous experience with the .22lr version wasn't so successful.

All reports on the Beretta are pretty good.

Since people have been clamoring for a centerfire version of a Ruger standard or 22/45 pistol for some time now and some gun pundits are calling 2015 the year of 9mm carbine, I'd really like to see Ruger release a striker fired pistol/carbine combo kit based of the 22/45 barreled receiver upper and lower grip frame assembly design to allow switching the grip frame between the pistol and carbine rifle length uppers with additional grip frames available on shopruger.com chambered in 9mm that can accept high capacity double stack magazines.

I'm thinking something like the Ares RCU22 carbine upper for the 22/45:

I've been drooling for a couple of weeks over Permanent37's Beretta CX4 in the Classified's. Just didn't have the spare cash. Finally scraped it together this weekend only to see that it was sold Saturday. Oh, well.

Went to the gun show in Sulphur (good one, btw) and, without blinking an eye bought this. HiPoint.jpg Pictured with front and rear sights removed. I can't believe something this cheaply made could seem so solid. I think this is gonna be fun. Wish HiPoint made hi-cap mags.
