Sounds like a puff piece after all the POed people have spoken out about the deal. I like that they specifically mentioned that biden tried to negotiate for Paul Wheelen as well. I'm willing to bet that we could have gotten them as a package deal, but putin/whoever did the negotiating in russia knew that if they withheld Mr. Wheelen they would make our administration look even more horribly sad and weak.
