Thinking back a few years, I was a guest at an OC dinner in another state. There were about 6-8 of us and the place was similar to a Billy Sims BBQ, size wise and clientele wise. When the checks came, all of us at the table had a LE discount applied to our tabs. None of us had said anything about being LEO, but we also did not correct the waitress and accepted our discount. Does that stack up to impersonating LE? Does it raise any legal objections? I haven't had it happen here yet, but since it happened once, chances are it might happen again.
(In my defense for keeping my mouth shut, I did tip extremely well.)
