(KFOR) — The Norman Police Department is mourning the loss of <a href="https://www.facebook.com/normanokpd/posts/pfbid02GGCKuTxMh6XN7dhnUj3uZGwZBjiC7V4AxjKBoTnKPVQEvGg8yBEvwCFiv8WZCQWxl" target="_blank">Master Police Officer Jenny Bryan.</a></p><p>Bryan had cancer and fought it with bravery, according to NPD.</p><p>“The loss of Jenny is profound,” said Norman Police Chief Kevin Foster. “She faced her battles with cancer with extraordinary courage, just as she approached every day in service to our community. Her dedication and spirit leave a lasting impact on our department.”</p><p>Bryan served Norman for eight years on the force and made an impact on the community, according to her peers. She graduated from the 54th Norman Police Academy.</p><p>ADVERTISEMENT</p><p></p><p>“We will forever be grateful for Jenny’s many contributions, impacts, and friendship,” said Chief Foster. “Jenny will be deeply missed and remembered always.”</p><p>In honor of her service, her police vehicle is parked in front of the Norman Police Department at 112 W. Daws Street.</p><p>The public is welcome to visit this temporary memorial and leave items honoring her life and public service legacy.</p><p>Information regarding memorial services will be shared as it becomes available.</p></blockquote><p></p>
