What's a rocker to do after they've sold 13 million albums worldwide, had four consecutive Top 3 debuts on the Billboard 200 and released multiple cross-format radio hits? Go back to their roots and release one kick-butt country album, of course. Staind frontman Aaron Lewis is doing just that, with the help of some Nashville Friends http://www.theboot.com/2010/11/30/aaron-lewis-country-boy/

I heard this on the Katt today and couldnt figure out who it was but I knew the voice.

I really like it. I think he did a good job. He has a 5 track country album being released early next year.

Don't make me be the first to say it.

Studies have shown overwhelming evidence that guy is a douchewagon, and that is quite possibly the worst thing I've ever heard.

Now all we need is for the dude from Nickleback to sing bluegrass.

Doesn't surprise me, today's country is just yesterdays pop / rock. There's no way Shania, Carrie, Taylor and many more would have been considered country 20 years ago.

I do think certain kinds of music can make you violent. Like, when I listen to Nickelback, it makes me want to kill Nickelback.
