Well, all I can say is "wow". What a beautiful rifle! Year produced 1939, not a rust speck on it. The wood is seasoned with just the right amount of character marks. Bore is bright and shiny. Trigger is clean and crisp. Serial #'s on the barrel/receiver/bolt/magazine match. Only bummer, is the billboard import mark smack dab in the most conspicuous location. Can't wait till my ammo gets in.

Wow, why did they stick the import mark there? I ordered a couple of shipments ago from AIM and it's on the barrel and very small. Nice looking rifle, hope you enjoy!

I have a K98 and already decided against getting another Mil Surp, but dang! I am strongly considering getting one of these!

    Man yours looks great.

I still have not gotten mine yet, but seeing yours makes me want mine so much more.

Is that the beech stock? Did you pay the extra 10 bucks for the best of 5?

I ordered a bayonet and it is in great shape and has very little wear. According to the AIM Surplus thread on another forum, they sold out of several hundred bayonets in a matter of a few hours.
