He was in an unpopulated area in Edmond and laid on the ground all night long.&nbsp; Luckily, it was a warm and dry night or he&#039;d have died.He was in a coma for a couple of months, spent nearly a year doing rehab and had multiple surgeries to correct the vision problems from the head injury.So, the boss decided that motorcycles were bad and sold all of his.Fast-forward two years; the boss&#039;s son gets a dirt bike.&nbsp; The boss decides he&#039;ll get one too so they can go trail riding together.&nbsp; He buys every piece of motocross protective gear he can get.&nbsp; His mom finds out and goes ballistic.&nbsp; His response to her was, &quot;Mom, I&#039;ve got everything I need.&nbsp; There&#039;s no way I can get hurt.&quot;&nbsp; Famous last words.He went out for his first ride in a couple of years.&nbsp; Fell awkwardly and broke five ribs on his right side (chest and spine protectors don&#039;t cover the sides).&nbsp; He, then, had a reaction to pain meds and began vomiting and broke a sixth rib.&nbsp; He&#039;s back to work part-time after three weeks of convalescing.&nbsp; But there was no way he could get hurt.</blockquote>
