Know you are, hon. Now, I support the right to OC, but done wrong like those guys down in Texas or like these nitwits were doing in the video referenced in the OP of this thread, it could be a PR disaster. That they don't see this is mind-boggling. You and GC have met me and so you know about my physical problems. This is part of the reason that I don't OC. (For those who don't what I am talking about here, I have a mild case of cerebral palsy, and a serious hearing impairment that also affects my balance and the combination gives me a speech impediment that sometimes takes getting used to.) I made the mistake of saying this and was accused of believing that disabled people don't have the right to carry. What surprises me about this whole dogfight (and I am being kind) is that the guy who is leading the charge, is usually so genial. And just FTR, I do believe in RTC for the disabled, but I also think that they should take their particular disability into account in making any decisions about carry. Also I might point out to the folks on this forum that I have been carrying handguns for about half of my adult life. In the early 1970's, I had to practically force the police in Kent, Washington to issue me the CCW license that I was entitled to. And then when I moved back to my native Kansas in 1989, I became involved in the Kansas RTC movement right away. So, to have this guy tell me that I don't believe in disabled have RTC really pissed me off. Anyway, please forgive my having to vent. I'm going to give myself a break from the Kansas forum for a while and the forum a break from me.
