Ours does anyways. Its one of the main tourist draws to our tribal headquarters. And the tribes that can afford it could also kick in a little extra to help support this center. But the casino income is not all profit. It first has to pay the state their cut of the money via the compact they sign with the state to even be in business. Then they pay the bills and payrolls of the casinos, pay the startup costs off that built the casino, put money towards casino expansion or subsequent new casino centers, and then anything else that is left over goes to programs for the tribe and its members. Our tribe provides decent programs for its members, and alot of the funds for those programs also come from the Fed, but it does not pay members a per cap payment on the casino profits like alot of tribes does, it all goes back to the tribe. We have been trying to get a per cap voted in but it hasnt happened yet. With that said, our tribal Congress is constantly coming up with the most stupid ideas to spend money- the huge indian statue idea that was to be built north of Tulsa, we have an LLC that is constantly losing money (right now its losing about $9000 a day), art work in NYC, trips for the chiefs office and council and Congress members; as well as totally out of control salaries for Congress members, council, chief, etcetc.</blockquote>
