Ammunition Shortage for Border Patrol?????

With all of the ammunition purchased by DHS recently, why on earth would there be any ammunition shortage for its' component agencies, such as the BP?

Something smells very fishy to me.

I have contacted Sen. Coburn asked him to let me know what was going on? Does anyone here have any idea what is going on with this?

they didnt actually purchase the ammo. it was a bid for quote on the ammo requested. as for a certain amount and a 5 year time period i do believe.
