Message: <blockquote data-quote="mugsy" data-source="post: 2018532" data-attributes="member: 18914"><p>In the past Kel-Tec made the bulk of their money making parts for NASA (maybe other Fed Govt agencies as well).  The gun manufacturing was a labor of love for the owner but definitely a sideshow as far as income.  Don't know the ratios now but if that is still the case you can readily see why the gun production takes a back seat.  I don't think Kel-Tec is large enough to have two separate sets of personnel and production capability - I think that are basically switching uses periodically with the same staff and physical plant.</p></blockquote><p></p>
