So even though the instant water heaters can be nice they have an issue where they cost more and the can clog up. Tank style heaters are always keeping water hot and that makes them less efficient though especially when you are not home using it. One of the new shifts has been to a "heat pump" style heater but they are also expensive and when the tank goes bad the cost to replace is also higher. Anyway was watching some stuff on youtube and this one is really a good idea.

So in the winter time if you works it right, this thing will actually help cool the house and make hot water at the same time. What's not to like? It also uses less power than a regular element style electric heater and technically should be able to be plumbed into any type of heater.
