The one thing that I will have to disagree with, is the notion that gridlock is a bad thing. The problem that so many have eluded to, that we need spending restraint, really implies, quit spending our money. I honestly cannot think of a single new item/law that we need. I can think of a lot of laws and programs that need to be eliminated. The only bipartisanship that I'm interested in, is repealing some these. Smaller federal gov't, period. Any new law that they want, 10 have to be eliminated. I cannot even think of a reason that they need to be in session more than 3 weeks out of the year. Unless your an invalid, if you don't earn it yourself, you don't need it. If you can't afford food, hey, we will finally have skinny poor people.</p></blockquote><p></p>
