Why is someone that disagrees with you an "enemy" or even an "idiot". Kind of sounds like the talk that is used by the people in power to divide the United States into "us and them". You know, the same talk that the whole "divided we fall" thing was aimed at.
They might be an opponent sure, you can fight an opponent and walk out at the end of a contest still friends. Enemies are ones to be destroyed.
