Thanks everyone, this day has been harder than expected. The sense of loss and helplessness have been overwhelming. Who woulda thought a simple date on the calendar could matter so much...

Happy Anniversary! Prayers sent your way. Was there myself a few years ago. My wife was in the hospital 5 times in one year, spent 6 months total in hospital and 4 surgeries. Was told by Doctor he didn't think she was gonna make it. I took a leave of absence from work to care for her. Thank the Lord she pulled thru and things are back to normal as possible. Our anniversary is next month 37 years. I pray you and sweetie can have a little normalcy.
