[QUOTE="Glocktogo, post: 1614739, member: 1132"] Folks, I'm sad to report that on Friday, September 9th, 2011, we lost a brother in Afghanistan. Chris Horton, aka "Christopher" was killed in a firefight with enemy combatants in Paktia, Afghanistan, along with two other brave men from Oklahoma's 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. For those of you who may remember, Chris was Phil Strader's Assistant Match Director for the first annual Pro-Am match and briefly worked at USSA before joining the Guard. I had the honor of spending quite a bit of time on the range with him and the knowledge that he's no longer with us makes me incredibly sad. I don't know what to say beyond that, so please say a prayer for the rest of our troops who remain in harm's way, and drink a toast to Chris the next time you're imbibing with friends.
