I don’t know what to think about the P320 discharges. Anecdotally, I’ve owned, EDC’d an M18 (using the manual frame mounted safety) for several years without incident. Also a full sized, slick side M17, competing in several local matches and training classes with no unplanned discharges. Working from OWB kydex holsters. Single anecdotal stories don’t mean much, I know. Other than catching the holstered pistol on a narrow chair armrest, as I sat down, I haven’t banged it around, hitting car doors, steering wheels or dropping it, chamber loaded. No rough treatment. I have changed EDC to a S&W M&P 2.0 9MM, when I found how well the factory textured grip, and circumference fit my hand. The Smiths’ frame mounted safety is very familiar to an old 1911 shooter.</p></blockquote><p></p>
