He also co-sponsored an expansion of "the list of crimes that disqualify an individual from firearm ownership."</p><p></p><p>The "assaults weapons" ban more than any other piece of legislation was tied to Yee. He not only voted "yea" on it when it came up for a vote but actually sponsored it. </p><p></p><p>Gun control groups like the Courage Campaign now fear this and other pieces of gun control legislation are in jeopardy.</p></blockquote><p></p>
