So I'll give you a quick story since everyone always wants to know what happened. So Jan 17th I was tearing some stockade fence down at my home. In the process of this I managed to put a 4 1/2 screw through my RIGHT foot. Quick trip to the after hours clinic for some X-rays , Tetanus , and antibiotic oh and some pain pills and on my way. Fast forward 8 days later ( the first day it was somewhat comfortable to walk on ) I am coming down an extension ladder , the ladder collapses and I mess up my LEFT foot. Another trip to the ER and more X-Rays and they send me off to a specialist. Well today the orthopedic Dr looks at it and says I don't do that kind of surgery and says I need a CT and he's going to send me to a different Dr. Not positive it needs surgey just yet until I get the CT done but from his info it's kinda looking that way. Just seeing if any of you guys or gals have had a surgery like this to kinda prep me for what to expect as far as down time after surgery , physical therapy and all that. Oh yeah , as far as what is messed up he's thinking the top of the Calcaneus and possibly the bone right above it.
