Anybody hunt in this weather today?

You brave guys are hard core and my hat is off to ya. What was deer movement like? Tell us about the hunt.

No but I worked in it. My deer hut would've been better than the cold wind in my face.

I went this morning for a few hours. Saw 2 bucks about an hour after daylight. One was a shooter 8 point at 60 yards.
It was brutally cold! Just like it will be in the morning.

Hunted ducks this morning and did pretty well. It was chilly though. Headed back to the deer stand tomorrow.

light rain to moderate sleet, to light snow most of the day. Sat on the ground with the north wind busting my stand. Didn't see a lot of movement with the limited visibility.

The last 2 days, movement was pretty good. They came back and forth to the food plot several times yesterday and today. Bucks chasing does out of the plot, only to be back in a little while. This morning just before the freezing rain hit, my buck I was after stepped out. The story is in 2013 Deer Season Success.
