You know, the S&W model 61.

Gotcha didn't I!! I think these things are pretty neat.

I've got a small, but growing collection of small oddball firearms:
Boberg XR9
Seecamp LWS 32 and LWS 380
Rohrbaugh R9
COP .357 Derringer (technically in my brother's safe but I own the gun)
Manhattan Pepperbox - 6 shot ca.1857
and a few others.

I think one of these would fit in nicely! Maybe one of these days. A Baby Browning and a nice PPK (although these aren't oddball by any means) are high on the list for this collection.

One of my family members has one. It's a neat little gun. My recollection is that it suffers from failures to extract, but it hasn't been shot in about a decade now. Be sure that you research the variants before buying one. Some report that the early ones had reliability issues.

I have a blued version 3, absolutely love it, great little gun.

They have a horrible reputation, so getting a good one is a crap shoot, later version were better.

The S+W 422/622/2206/2213/2214 were based on the same design with a lot of improvements, they are a great gun.

I might have an issue with these guns, here is the 61 with some of the others...
