I'm in the same boat as Dennishoddy! I started flyfishing about 35 yrs ago, since I'm retired from one job and have Summers off with my current job I usually spend my summers and holidays off fishing somewhere, I've found that trout live in the most beautiful places!!! Nothing  like standing in a clear mountain stream with friends or alone chasing fish and swinging a stick! Taught both my kids to flyfish in the creeks and ponds on the Refuge catching bluegill and small mouth on poppers is a blast, and the kids love it to. Currently teaching my 5 yr old grandson to flyfish, he's going to be my fishing partner till I pass, he loves to fish with me!!! I've had the good luck to be able to fish all over the US from Alaska to the Carolinas, and Canada. I spend most of my time in the summer in Northern New Mexico and Colorado. Use to own a place in Montana and there is some great fishing there. Love to run over to the Mountain Fork if I can do it during the week, otherwise its overrun by Texans on the weekends and holidays. I've been to the Blue as its not to far but again don't go on a weekend! I'll join Dennis and add a few pics,, cause I can!!!
