I was going to comment about your pic being at Bull Shoals dam. Fished that area several times. It can be quite dangerous if one doesn't heed the sirens that determine water flow.

Case in point, a fly-fishing friend of mine wanted to throw a split bamboo fly rod that I had inherited from my grandfather that was a fly fisherman but never taught me.

He and a friend were wading below the dam, ignoring the first siren as the bite was so good and finally working their way out as the water started rising after the second siren.

The friend got out after a struggle, and when looking back, saw my friend nowhere in sight.

They recovered his body a mile downstream a few days later.

I guess it's appropriate that grandpa's bamboo rod is resting in a trout stream now.

Even has its own grass airport for fly-ins.
