Upon learning more, I am calculating that the 10cu ft trailer full of dirt that I had trouble pulling up the 20-30 degree slope probably weight more like 500-700lbs so I may be able to do this with my smaller tractor but I would be looking for help if I could not. I am leaning towards the 270lb roller though right now but I haven't decided for certain. Should I water BEFORE I roll it? I'm talking about if I dump mounds of dirt into low spots and give a quick rake before making a pass with roller? Or, is it better to roll then water?
